Flickr Time Again

Filed under: Photography — Robert @ 9:54 pm

More updates on Flickr again.

The truth is that I’ve been so busy working on both my job and getting the shooting of the Consumed Pre-Film that I haven’t produced anything other than photographs for a while. I do have a an idea for a series of shots to turn into more interesting art - but that is something for the Winter.

In the meantime turn to Flickr at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/grandetour/

More on Flickr

Filed under: News, Comment — Robert @ 9:13 pm

Whilst I’ve done some photography, the real thrust of new digital pieces has been a little slow of late. However I can point you at my Flickr account. There are some new images that I hope you find amusing. My Flickr account can be found at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/grandetour/

I’ll create some more new work as soon as I can.

Thanks for your patience.

Party

Filed under: Digital Enhanced Photography, Digital Art — Robert @ 8:11 pm

Party Time
A wander into the realm of the semi abstract. Odd once I did a lot of abstraction, been straying from that a lot of late, but this time that is where I ended up.

I was doing prom pictures and ended up with this. Yes the original was full of youthful attitude but in this finished (and very simply created picture) I seem to have the attitude, colours and texture of what a party if about. The good and the bad. The glamour, and the wrinkled, prune like nature of the morning after.

It’s simple and its a party. Perhaps best not to over analyse.

If you’d like to seem some more regular pre-prom pictures take a look at my flickr account.

Over Cotehele

Filed under: Art, Digital Enhanced Photography — Robert @ 9:39 pm

Cotehele Tudor Mansion
I was recently lucky enough to take a short trip Devon and Cornwall, coming away with a number of interesting pictures despite some terrible weather. To see other pictures from this trip take a look at my Flickr profile.

One of my favourite pictures was of Cotehele mansion. A fantastic tudor property stuffed full of history. As befits and old Tudor mansion it could only be accessed down a windy old lane, you wonder how people used to ever reach it in Winter. Perhaps they didn’t and that is part of the charm.

This picture came about through a combination of history provoked musings, bad light, rain and a gothic streak that I needed to explore.

I hope you enjoy.
